I’m back from one of the busiest and most enjoyable conferences I have ever attended. The International Diabetes Federation’s World Diabetes Congress in Vancouver was a frantic few days, preceded by the Parliamentarians for Diabetes Global Network Forum. Before I get to the nitty gritty of the week, here are some pictures. They tell more than a thousand words and give you an idea of just some of the week. Let your fingers do the scrolling!

Hi Renza – glad to read of your time in Vancouver. Susan Alberti looks like she is so much shorter than you, is she or did you have heels on ? One other question – how many politicians from Australia were present?

Hi Jenny. Both co-chairs of the Australian Parliamentary Friends of Diabetes Group were there (Rowan Ramsey and Graham Perrett.) Plus co-chair of the IDF Parliamentarians for Diabetes Global Network is Tasmanian Guy Barnett and the Global Coordinator is Judi Moylan.
And yes, I was wearing heels. I usually am!!
