Happy pumpivesary, Renza!!
And congratulations for inventing a new word for ‘pumpers’.
At the age of 64 I got my lovely purple pump last year and I wouldn’t part with it for quids. My endo had recommended it some years before but cost and the fact I was not confident to deal with the technology meant that I dismissed his suggestion.
But, now the cost of the pump is paid by for my private health insurance, the consumables are on NDSS and I was ready to have a go dealing with the technology. A big thank you to you and all the lobbyists. Now, what more could I want.???Well…a CGM would make my life complete. We could afford the meter but it is the cost of the consumables that put it out of my reach.
So, how about some advice on how and who to lobby?….in your spare time!I am going to miss your regular posts on this blog but I do follow diabetogenic.
